Bali and Lombok in 31 days.
Indonesia has become my favorite place in the world. For its simplicity, for the kindest and most special people I have ever met. For its peace, energy and spirituality. For being able to see the sunrise above the clouds and for arriving anywhere with my hair blowing in the wind. For its unreal beaches and waterfalls and for the best waves to surf. For the breathtaking sunsets and for dancing barefoot until the morning. For the iconic adversities and stories to tell. For making me feel free and dream. Indonesia is a breath of fresh air, the most special place you will ever visit.
Note
Indonesia is a dream, but it is not a bed of roses. There are several places to avoid, areas you should not go to at all and some precautions to take. Canggu is a good example of this. The most famous place in Bali, for its parties, cafes and fancy brunches. The place where most tourists stay. I planned to stay there for 3 or 4 nights and ended up spending only one day, because it was totally out of my vibe. The important thing is to understand that this suggested itinerary is not exactly what I did or planned to do, but rather what I consider to be really worth it. I don't want you to make the same mistakes I did!
